Assessment of the early growth of agarwood (Aquilaria crassna) seedlings under different sources of nutrients

The effect of different sources nutrients on the growth Aquilaria crassna seedlings was assessed by raising in polybags treated with inorganic fertilizer (IF), organic (OF) and biofertilizer (BF) either alone or combinations. pots were established following a completely randomized block design eight treatments: (T1) soil without IF, OF BF ‒ control; (T2) + IF; (T3) OF; (T4) BF; (T5) IF (T6) (T7) (T8) each replicated five times. Plant height, stem diameter, dry weight shoots roots, leaf area chlorophyll index measured six months after planting. Soil pH (H2O) available P content as parameters. best performances (54.30 cm, 6.48 mm, 7.10 5.92 g.plant-1, 435.33 cm2 58 for plant shoot root weight, index, respectively) recorded T8, which also resulted highest (18.96 mg.kg-1 soil). lowest value (6.02) T7 followed T6 (6.17). application combination could be recommended to promote seedlings.
